We have started a new section of this web site that focuses directly on what is understood about fracking chemicals. Currently we have an article on the challenges that chemicals solve for the industry and a detailed classification of the chemical structures of the diverse materials used. Upcoming articles and analyses will focus on topics such as hazard profiles of chemicals, the limits to our understanding, and changes in chemical use patterns over the last decade. We will post announcements of these new articles when they become available.
